Weirdo is a hen I got at a poultry auction. Someone said she was an Americana (a cool type of chicken that lays blue, green or pink eggs), so I enthusiastically bid on her and won her for six dollars. It wasn’t until i got up close that i realized she was missing many of her feathers and had a crooked/crossed beak.

Her feathers have grown back since i first got her and we trim her beak every once in a while so she can eat better. She is really nice to me but she is a real jerk to all of the other chickens. She isn’t laying yet but when she starts i better see some blue eggs. :^/
